The following cultural heritage objects were moved from Jungrang-gu to Eumseong, Chungbuk with the relocation of the Handok Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy, which has a title to them, in April 1993:

  • State-designated treasure (3 items)
    • Treasure No. 646 Celadon medicine casket inscribed with the letters “尙藥局” (pronounced Sang-yang-guk, referring to the office in charge of providing medicine to the king during the Goryeo period)
    • Treasure No. 1088 Eonhaetaesanjipyo (medical book about childbirth-related symptoms and prescriptions)
    • Treasure No. 1111 Chando Bangron Maekgyeol Jipseong (encyclopedia about feeling the pulse for diagnosis)
  • Seoul City-designated tangible cultural heritage (4 items)
    • Sangbong-dong Five-Tiered Stone Pagoda (Cultural Heritage No. 44)
    • Stone Casket for keeping the king's placenta and umbilical cord (Cultural Heritage No. 45)
    • Sangbong-dong Stone Lamp (Cultural Heritage No. 46)
    • Sangbong-dong Sarira Pagoda, which was originally placed at Sudeoksa Temple (Cultural Heritage No. 47)
  • Ham Geum-deok, a specialist in Gayageum Sanjo (state-designated cultural heritage no. 23)
  • passed away in October 1994.

    • King Sejo’s letter of instruction given to Pyeongan-do Military Commander Yi Yun-son in 1682 (designated as treasure in December 1998) / Treasure No. 1289
